Brennecke’s Beach
Brennecke Beach is well known for its perfect body surfing & body boarding conditions. Brennecke’s Beach can be found at the far eastern end of Poipu Beach Park. Turtles frequent this area, and sometimes catch a wave or two as well!
Shipwrecks Beach
Shipwrecks beach is another wonder of Poipu. Shipwrecks is separated from the rest of Poipu by a rocky coastline etched with nature trails. The beach itself is glorious, although swimming here is recommended only for the most experienced. This is a popular spot for local surfers and cliff divers. Although never recommended, it is entrancing to watch the daring jump 30 feet down to the ocean and make the swim back to shore.
